Common questions
When does Probably Stolen release?
The full game is dated 28 October 2026 on Steam. A demo replaced the open playtest on 14 September 2026.
What is in the demo?
Three starting scenarios plus Rock Bottom, the appraisal service, machines and modules, and the security and faction systems.
Can I carry a playtest save over?
Yes. The game tells players their save files transfer automatically to the demo. The demo's load screen also has a Discover button for saves copied in from elsewhere.
Which languages does the game support?
The store lists English, German, Japanese, Russian and Simplified Chinese for both interface and subtitles. Traditional Chinese is not listed; the Traditional Chinese on this site is converted from the game's Simplified strings.
Which platforms?
Both the full game and the demo are on Steam, for Windows.
Does the game support ultrawide monitors?
Full screen is built for 16:9. On other aspect ratios the game uses black bars, and adds an option to dock interface panels onto them.
Is there Traditional Chinese support planned?
Nothing official says so. This site converts the game's Simplified strings, and does not claim the game itself supports Traditional Chinese.
