New content added with the demo: one new early-game machine and its matching item, two starting perks designed for challenge runs, an equip mode for tools, and the Toolbox — which stores tools, binds them to the number keys, and is sold by Dr. Jackson after day 14.

The Bottle Printer can be upgraded with electronic parts to print normal and large bottles. A common electronic gives the store's cleaning robot an incinerator at double the power draw.

Quality of life: drag a selection box to move or use several items, right-click to sort a grid inventory, preview containers before buying, rotate a held item with the mouse wheel, and keep up to 25 inventory windows open. Full screen on non-16:9 monitors can dock interface panels onto the black bars.
